Ken Van Rees is a Canadian painter who paints plein air which allows him to connect with the natural environment from a different perspective than his science one. He is intrigued by the various intersections of the arts and sciences in his work, particularly his recent interest in soils/charcoal and the arts.
Follow me with the MWP starting June 12 on Facebook as we paint in Prince Albert National Park for a week as part of a residency created by the Black Spruce Gallery. The paintings will be exhibited in PANP July 25-26th. More details to follow.
