I had done these three videos over the last 8 years regarding the closing of Kenderdine.

A video done in the spring of 2013

Emma Lake Kenderdine Campus Summer 2013

On November 15, 2012 the ELKC was shuttered by the University of Saskatchewan due to a perceived budget deficit. The campus had been in operation since 1935 as an art camp and over the years had included university science courses. In 2005 I took my first painting class at ELKC and it has been a wonderful journey into the art world since then. The en plein air painting group Men Who Paint was started one summer at ELKC and all the members have strong ties to the camp. I am hopeful that with the new university president Peter Stoicheff that the ELKC will once again be opened to university students and the people of Saskatchewan.
